A truly unique way to begin your day. Join our Hui Holokai Beach Ambassadors and witness the dawn of a new day, showcasing the majestic Maunakea and Hawai’i Island. Blowing of the conch to welcome the sun and an ancient Hawaiian o//(chant) will surely give you what we call “chicken skin”. This is the only way to start your day!
The Kalahiki Canoe Experience is open to guests ages 10+ (guests under the age of 10 are not permitted). All guests need to purchase an “adult” ticket. All guests ages 10-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult 18+.
Activities must be cancelled by 10:00am HST on the day before your reservation date to avoid no-show fees.

Discover the captivating Kohala coastline while paddling an outrigger canoe and snorkeling with our Hui Holokai Beach Ambassadors. Spot sea caves, underwater arches and stunning coral formations where the abundance of different reef fish is thriving.

Stand-up Paddleboard Adventure
Paddle boarding originated in Hawai‘i and is now embraced around the globe. Learn from the Hui Holokai Beach Ambassadors and explore SUP beyond the lagoon and into the deep blue! Perfect for beginners, experienced ocean enthusiasts, and seasoned water-users.
Must be at least 10 years of age. All children 18 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Prices shown are per person, all equipment provided by guide. Age requirements: Canoe activities are for children 10 years and older. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 18 and older. One family per activity. All activities are confirmed based on availability of staff and ocean conditions. Reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance. All activities can be confirmed with a minimum of 2 persons and maximum of 6 persons.
